Marianne Stolz-Woodcarver

Marianne Stolz is a woodcarving artist. Her work reflects the awe and beauty she finds in the workings and connections of the natural world. She was born and raised in Germany. Roaming the Black Forest in her childhood contributed to her connection to nature and her curiosity about natural history. Her outdoor explorations brought her to Fairbanks, Alaska. She had found a place to raise her family and expand her art. If Marianne is not in her studio carving, she is outside. 

Her carvings can be seen throughout the interior of Alaska in public places and galleries.
